LP Smart Siding Foundation Series

Here at Matthews Building Supply, we have several hard to find items that seem to surprise people who find them here. With that in mind, we are going to try to raise awareness through our Blog with 1 item a week.

For our first article: We have Masonite siding! Actually, we have the product that replaced Masonite. Throughout the Eighties it was the primary siding used, and now ever house that has this product needs a few repairs.

LP Smart Siding Foundation Series is the replacement product for the old Masonite siding. It is now manufactured using a Zinc Borate base SmartGuard^® process. This really helps in the performance of the product’s durability. It now has a 5/50 manufactures warranty (here is the link for additional information on the manufactures warranty).

We stock the 8-inch smooth, beaded textured and smooth beaded, along with a 12-inch smooth all 16-foot in length.

In sheathing, we have 4 x 8, 4 x 9, 8-inch v-groove and smooth panels. Basically, if you need it
we have it. If we don’t have what you want in stock, we have suppliers who we can use to get
what you want, so please give us a call to help you with our next project.
